Full Life Christian Center is currently seeking a Chinese-speaking Associate Pastor.
Pastor Anthony has served as the Senior Pastor of Full Life Christian Center in San Francisco since 2024. He and Deanna met as students at the University of Texas at Austin where they were married in 1995. Their daughter, Anika, was born in 2002 and son, Ari, followed two years later. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Arts in History/English from UT Austin, a Masters of Divinity from The Assemblies of God, and a Doctor of Ministry in Historical Theology from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. With degrees from the pagans, the Pentecostals and the Presbyterians, Anthony has a unique perspective on proclaiming the gospel in our modern world.
Before coming to San Francisco, the Scomas spent 20 years in Austin, TX where they planted a church that was very successful in reaching people who were new to Christian faith. Anthony has provided leadership on several denominational and secular state boards and committees over the years. Deanna is a CPA with her own tax business. Together they enjoy traveling, hiking with their dogs, and kayaking. Anthony is passionate about books, movies, baseball and jazz music.
Pastor Jonathan is the Youth Pastor at Full Life Christian Center in San Francisco. Born in India to a pastors’ family he has served the Lord with his parents and two younger sisters through church planting and missions in Europe, Asia and North/South America. In 2008, Jonathan was the Youth Director for Oak Heights Covenant Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota. Afterwards, he spent time traveling as an international speaker and missionary. He graduated from Cornerstone University in 2015 and received his ordination with the Assemblies of God in 2017.
Jonathan has a heart for young people and his number one goal is to nourish a faith that is intentional, missional and loving. Jonathan enjoys photography, music, movies, the outdoors and pizza.
Pastor Ernesto Chong Yuen is serving as a volunteer pastor for the Chinese congregation at Full Life Christian Center. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Church Leadership from Bethany College. After graduation, he served as a pastor at an Assemblies of God church Oriental Christian Center in San Jose. Currently, he is a hospital chaplain. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, drawing, playing guitar, playing video games, and watching good movies.
Ann Kawauchi is a native San Franciscan who attended Lowell High School, a member of Full Life Christian Center since the 1980s, and a graduate of University of California, Berkley. She is currently serving as the Director of Children’s Ministry, which includes our community outreach programs such as Kid Care America San Francisco (KCASF) and Summer Explorers. KCASF program is dedicated to help children not only with academics but also on their journey to discover the fullness of God’s love and how we can love our neighbor. She is married and has a son in college.
Betty joined FLCC as an administrator in November 2007. Her primary responsibility is to support the Pastoral Staff in fulfilling the mission of the church. She is also the director of our Elim Ministry that reaches out to the elderly community of our neighborhood. Betty was born and raised in Macau. She finished her High School at Santa Rosa de Lima in Macau, and in 2001 she received her B.A Degree in Education at South China Normal University, China. Betty’s major language is Cantonese, and she is also proficient in Mandarin and English.
